this was the love of your life and all you wanted from him was commitment. now after a series of life events he is on the same page as you. would you continue to be cold and risk him running out of energy on this? Would you tell him things like ';i need to time to aborb this'; and maybe even have dinner with him if you really had no interest? That is my situation. She won't talk about it all yet, but did say the above and had dinner with me (but just general talk). Is there hope? should I be patient? Next move? Yes-be patient. if she had dinner with you, then she is still open to a connection. I would not pressure her in anyway. Now you don't have to kiss her butt, entirely...but you should begin to do things differently in your relationship then before. Women like to feel secure in a relationship and although you may say all the right words, action speaks louder than words.


Plan something different to do together and let her know that you love her and you have made some mistakes and that you will try your best to show her that you love and respect her.





If she decides she doesn't want to give it another try, be kind, tell her you understand and you will respect her decision and remain friends. But prepare yourself, be prepared to accept only freindship with no bitterness or be prepared to ';step up'; and be the great guy you know you can be to her.
